Door mijn werk als coördinator van Europese projecten beschik ik over een internationaal netwerk dat ik wil blijven inzetten. Als coördinator van HHC bracht ik, 25 jaar lang, jonge mensen uit heel Europa naar Heist en delegeerde ik zelf mijn leerlingen naar diverse buitenlandse scholen binnen
Comenius- en Leonardoprojecten. Dankzij deze internationale contacten werd ik regelmatig gevraagd als gastspreker op Europese onderwijs- en cultuurcongressen. Daarnaast nam ik ook deel aan een studiebezoek aan het Zuid-Afrikaanse Bergrivier dat een blijvende indruk maakte.
De voorbije 5 jaren nam ik ook het voortouw in enkele succesvolle projecten als” Let’s Post it”, “Easy Towns” 1.0 en 2.0″, “Swan 1.0 en 2.0”. Mijn doel is om Heist een blijvende plaats te geven op de wereldkaart. Met al deze initiatieven krijgt Europa een hart voor Heist en dat wil ik vooral zo houden!
